How Long Does it Take to Get Divorced in Utah?

The answer depends upon the circumstances.

Utah law imposes a 30-day waiting period after filing for a divorce. Even if you and your spouse have an agreement on all terms, it will take at least 30 days for the divorce to be granted. You may try to waive the waiting period.

If you and your spouse cannot come to an agreement, it could take months or even years before the divorce is granted.
